Visiting UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office Leo Docherty has met with First Deputy Chief of the State Border Service (SBS), Chief of General Staff Rashad Sadigov.
The focus of discussions was border security cooperation between relevant agencies of both countries including maritime security.
Sadigov told of the steps taken to establish border patrol and needed infrastructure on the liberated lands.
The pair underlined the importance of such visits and experience exchange for developing bilateral relations and resolved to continue cooperation in the future.
The UK delegation viewed Coast Guard’s general command and control, ship repair and building centers as well as a guard boat.
