The international community continues its consistent and principled support for the return of Western Azerbaijanis. During the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States (TURKPA) in Astana on June 12, 2025, the Assembly once again expressed its concern over the fate of the Azerbaijanis forcibly displaced from Armenia, supporting their right to a safe, peaceful, and dignified return to their ancestral lands, the Western Azerbaijan Community said in a statement.
It noted that this decision serves human rights, justice, and peace.
“The Western Azerbaijan Community expresses its gratitude to TURKPA and its member Parliaments for their principled, consistent, and just position,” it added.
