
President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan posted on his official X account about the opening of the “Azerbaijan” neighborhood in Kahramanmaraş and the drawing of lots to allocate ownership of 49,000 residential and commercial properties in the disaster-affected area.
The Turkish leader highlighted Azerbaijan’s contributions to completing the residential complex in central Kahramanmaraş.
“Today, we are planning to determine the owners of 49,000 residential and commercial properties, including those in the “Azerbaijan” neighborhood constructed with the support of our brotherly Azerbaijan. With this, the total number of housing units provided to residents of the natural disaster zone will reach 250,000,” President Erdoğan noted.
The Turkish President also shared a video showcasing the “Azerbaijan” neighborhood and other newly built residential complexes in the area affected by the February 2023 earthquakes.
