Under the 2025 training plan, a joint training session with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription involving a group of reservists called from the reserve concluded on Friday, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense reported.
“A closing ceremony was held to mark the end of the session, which began with a tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty, followed by the performance of the National Anthem.
Speakers emphasized that both theoretical and practical trainings were conducted in areas such as drill, tactics, military medicine, and specialty training to enhance the combat capabilities of military personnel. Reservists were also instructed on the tactical and technical characteristics of modern weapons and equipment in the Azerbaijan Army’s arsenal, as well as their proper use and combat applications.
The session included assessments of the reservists’ moral and psychological condition, along with educational discussions on loyalty to national and spiritual values, statehood, and patriotism. The Ministry noted that all training objectives were successfully achieved.
In conclusion, a group of reservists who demonstrated outstanding performance received honorary certificates,” the ministry said.
