Azerbaijan have announced the participation of 9 gymnasts in the upcoming FIG Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Cup – AGF Trophy, set to take place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 22-23.
In the trampoline event, Azerbaijan will be represented by Seljan Mahsudova, Shafiga Humbatova, Nijat Mirzayev, Mehdi Aliyev and Ali Niftaliyev. For the first time, the trampoline competition will feature mixed synchronized pairs program.
In the tumbling program, Azerbaijan’s hopes will be pinned on Tofig Aliyev, Adil Hajizade, Huseyn Asadullayev and Aleksey Karatashov.
The event will bring together talented gymnasts from 16 countries, who will perform in individual and synchronized disciplines.
