On February 18, a landmine explosion occurred in the village of Mukhtar in the liberated Khojaly district, the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) reported.
According to ANAMA, the agency’s employee, Vasif Fazil oglu Chobanov (born in 2000), was injured as a result of an anti-personnel mine explosion while performing his duties. He sustained various injuries to his left arm and face.
The injured employee was evacuated to a district hospital. His condition is reported to be stable, with no threat to his life.
