The Heydar Aliyev World Boxing Committee (WBCA), founded in the German city of Magdeburg in 2012, has been included into the BoxRec ranking.
Starting from September 1, 2023, along with Azerbaijani boxers, athletes from all countries worldwide will be able to compete for this highest award.
The World Boxing Committee named after National Leader Heydar Aliyev, launched with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, aims to consolidate Azerbaijani athletes living in the world and achieve hoisting of tricolour flag of Azerbaijan on the international arena.
