FM BAYRAMOV INFORMS DUTCH COUNTERPART ABOUT POST-CONFLICT SITUATION IN THE REGION

On December 4, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with David van Weel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on the sidelines of the 32nd Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna.

The meeting discussed issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda, as well as the current regional situation.

They noted that Azerbaijan and the Netherlands enjoy broad prospects for developing cooperation in a number of areas, including energy, green energy, trade, transport, and others.

The ministers emphasized the importance of reciprocal visits, contacts within various international events, high-level engagements aimed at discussing the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, and the mechanism of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries.

Minister Bayramov informed David van Weel about the role Azerbaijan plays in the wider region, as well as the situation and realities in the post-conflict period and following the Washington Summit.

Other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
