Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met up with EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson who is in Azerbaijan to participate in the 9th Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting and 1st Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting held in Baku.
Mikayil Jabbarov emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan`s relations with the European Union as well as the importance of mutual visits and high-level meetings, stressing that “Azerbaijan is a reliable partner in ensuring Europe`s energy security”.
The meeting discussed green energy transition strategy as well as an efficient use of resources and strengthening of energy partnership.
