ESTONIA TO OPEN ITS EMBASSY IN AZERBAIJAN IN 2026

On December 2, Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a telephone conversation with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna.

During the telephone conversation, the discussions focused on the topical items on the Azerbaijan-Estonia bilateral and multilateral agenda, as well as regional and global developments.

The ministers hailed the intensifying political dialogue and reciprocal visits between the two countries. They stressed the importance of mutual support within international organizations, reviewing the collaboration in this regard.

Margus Tsahkna informed Minister Bayramov about Estonia’s official decision to open its embassy in Azerbaijan in 2026.

Commending the decision, the Azerbaijani FM noted that this step would boost bilateral relations between the two countries. The conversation also addressed other bilateral and regional matters.
