“The Central Election Commission has facilitated comprehensive opportunities for voters, installing web cameras in 1,000 polling stations. On election day, it will be possible to monitor the process in these polling stations online,” said Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov as he met CIS Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev.
Mazahir Panahov emphasized that the Central Election Commission (CEC) has accredited 790 international observers to monitor the presidential election.
Highlighting the preparatory work for the elections, the CEC Chairman noted that the presidential election will be held across the entire internationally recognized territory of the country for the first time. He also mentioned that three organizations, including the US-based Oracle Advisory Group, have applied to conduct an “exit poll” during the elections.
