
On 4 April, Baku will host the 11th Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting and the 3rd Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting.
The event will bring together 24 countries, including Azerbaijan and the European Union, 7 international financial institutions and 42 energy companies. Ministers, deputy ministers and other high-level representatives will participate in the event.
The program includes an opening session followed by Ministerial Session, Southern Gas Corridor Session: Progress and Next Steps in Successful Operation and Development of Southern Gas Corridor Plenary Session and Green Energy Projects and Green Energy Corridors Plenary Session.
Additionally, the 2nd Ministerial Meeting on Green Electricity Transmission and Trade Project between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia and Bulgaria, Informal Steering Committee/Ministerial Meeting on Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor, and Eu-Azerbaijan Roundtable Meeting on Offshore Wind Power Development will take place.
Documents related to green energy are scheduled to be signed during the meeting.
Following the event, a press conference on the outcomes of the 11th Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting and the 3rd Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting will be conducted.
The Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting has been convened since February 2015.
