BAKU HOSTS MUSICAL AND POETIC EVENT DEDICATED TO EGYPTIAN AND AZERBAIJANI POETRY

A musical and poetic event dedicated to Egyptian and Azerbaijani poetry was organized at the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Center in Azerbaijan.

In his opening remarks, Tarek Mohammed, Director of the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Center, Professor, Doctor of Sciences highlighted the importance of poetry as a bridge between peoples, expressing his gratitude for advancing cultural dialogue between the two countries.

Ulviyya Huseynova, Director of the Saudi Arabian Center, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, stressed the importance of international cultural and literary initiatives, as well as their role in strengthening humanitarian ties.

Honored Art Worker Baba Vaziroglu, as well as Vice-Rector for Foreign Relations of the Baku Eurasian University Sevda Rzayeva, emphasized the significance of cultural and academic cooperation in enhancing international literary dialogue.

The event featured the works of Azerbaijani and other Arab writers, including those by Mikayil Mushfig, Samad Vurgun, Bakhtiyar Vahabzade, Ahmad Shawqī, Ibrahim Hafiz, as well as other classical and contemporary authors.

The event was co-organized by the “Modern Poems” literary project, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Center, and the Saudi Arabian Center.
