On November 6, the 2nd Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Youth Forum kicked off in Baku.
The event brought together youth organizations, representatives of public institutions, public figures and media representatives from both countries.
First, the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity was honored with a minute of silence.
Subsequently, the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were played.
The event featured the screening of video reflecting the friendship and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The participants noted that the parties intend to further expand cooperation through this forum as a continuation of the agreements reached at the meeting held in Lankaran, the “Youth Capital of the Turkic World”, in 2024.
The main goal of the forum is to enhance cooperation between the youth of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, strengthen mutual relations, and jointly discuss future prospects.
The participants hailed Baku’s hosting the event on the eve of Victory Day as the celebration of brotherhood and solidarity.
