BAKU ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY DELEGATION ATTENDS 18TH WORLD FUTURE ENERGY SUMMIT IN ABU DHABI

A delegation of the Baku Engineering University (BEU) participated in the 18th World Future Energy Summit, organized by Masdar company as part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The summit, considered one of the most influential platforms in the global energy sector, brought together global experts, policymakers, and industry leaders in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change, smart technologies, and sustainable development. More than 50,000 participants attended the summit, with over 450 leading companies, as well as universities and innovation centers participating.

As part of the summit, the BEU delegation met with leading international companies and organizations, exchanged views on possible cooperation directions in scientific research, innovation, industry-university collaboration, and joint projects, and presented the university’s advantages in education and research areas, as well as its innovative projects.

Participation in the summit provided an opportunity to obtain firsthand information about the latest innovations and advanced technologies in the global energy and sustainability sector, and to gain strategic opportunities for future international collaborations.

As part of the visit, the BEU delegation also visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the UAE. During the meeting, the sides explored cooperation opportunities in higher education, science, and innovation, as well as student and academic exchange prospects between BEU and UAE universities. They also highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and research.
