As part of his visit to Beijing, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General, Kamran Aliyev has met with Wang Hongjin, a member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Supervisory Commission.
They commended friendly and cooperative relations between the two states and peoples.
Wang gratefully recalled construction of the Azerbaijan-funded new school after the terrible earthquake that occurred in the Sichuan province of China in 2008.
Kamran Aliyev also briefed Hongjin on the anti-corruption reforms in the country based on the political will of the head of state Ilham Aliyev and world’s best practices.
The sides agreed on expanding cooperation between the two countries in the fight against corruption and bribery, ensuring a transparent business climate and competitiveness.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to China Bunyad Huseynov also attended the meeting.
