
On December 4, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide on the sidelines of the 32nd Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna.
The FMs reviewed the current state of Azerbaijani–Norwegian bilateral relations and discussed possibilities for maintaining the ongoing political dialogue and expanding the cooperation agenda.
They also highlighted the importance of long-term partnership in the energy sector.
FM Bayramov provided insight into the new realities that have emerged in the South Caucasus region after Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty, including the process of normalization with Armenia.
The sides also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
