AZERBAIJAN’S EDUCATIONAL COOPERATION IN SPOTLIGHT OF WORLD GOVERNMENTS SUMMIT 2026

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev held a number of meetings on the sidelines of the 2026 World Governments Summit held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

During the meeting with Givi Mikanadze, Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science and Youth, the sides highlighted the current state and development prospects for cooperation in the field of science and education between the two countries.

They also discussed the implementation of joint projects between higher education institutions, the expansion of academic exchanges, as well as the ongoing cooperation in the field of STEAM.

Azerbaijani Minister Emin Amrullayev met with Serbian Minister of Education Dejan Vuk Stanković. The meeting revolved around discussions on current cooperation and development prospects in the field of education between the two countries.

Minister Emin Amrullayev also met with Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to explore a wide range of planned joint projects and collaborative efforts within the scientific and academic sectors.
