A delegation led by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev is attending the international exhibition World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Founded by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries, the exhibition brings together more than 750 participants and 115 foreign representatives from more than 45 countries.
Organized by the Ministry of Defense Industry, the Azerbaijani stand displays 107 defense products manufactured by the country.
Minister Vugar Mustafayev, who attended the opening ceremony, met with Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and wished success to the exhibition. The Azerbaijani minister familiarized himself with the defense products and new technologies showcased at the stands of Türkiye, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries.
As part of the trip, Minister Mustafayev also met with governor of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali.
During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense industry, as well as exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Taking place from 4-8 February, World Defense Show 2024 is dedicated to creating the ultimate B2B event for the defense industry, which also supports its relevant ministries and authorities and reinforces the national commitment to the growth and success of the show.
