The opening ceremony of the 4th edition of the Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2025), under the patronage of Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, was held in Cairo, the Egyptian capital.
Running until December 4, the event gathers over 100 state officials and members of diplomatic corps. The Azerbaijani delegation is led by Vugar Mustafayev, Minister of Defense Industry, also including Elkhan Polukhov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Egypt.
Products of more than 450 companies from 50 countries, including Azerbaijan, are displayed at the expo, with the event featuring a total of 25 national pavilions.
The first edition of EDEX was held in 2018.
