To date, candidacies of 15,696 persons have been registered for participation the municipal elections scheduled for January 29, 2025, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC), told journalists.
According to him, only 16,460 persons out of the 16,708, who nominated their candidacies for the municipal elections, have received their signature sheets.
