The Azerbaijan rhythmic gymnastics team in group exercises delivered an outstanding performance at the 32nd World University Games of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany, grabbing a gold medal.
The Team Azerbaijan, including gymnasts Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, and Gullu Aghalarzade, clinched the medal by picking total of 50,500 points for two events – 26,350 points for three balls and two hoops, and 24,150 points for five ribbons exercises.
The competition will run until July 27.
