On November 11, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov called Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov conveyed condolences over the crash in Georgian territory of the fraternal Türkiye’s “C130” military transport aircraft en route from Azerbaijan to Türkiye. He prayed for God’s mercy on the deceased crew members and servicemen and wished patience to their families.
It was noted that Azerbaijan is in contact with the relevant state institutions of Türkiye and Georgia regarding the incident. Azerbaijan is ready to provide all necessary support for mitigating the consequences of the crash and conducting search and rescue operations.
Minister Hakan Fidan expressed gratitude for the condolences and the support shown in this difficult time.
