Azerbaijan`s newly appointed Ambassador to Cuba Ruslan Rzayev has presented his credentials to the country`s President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.

President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez expressed his gratitude to ambassador for President Ilham Aliyev`s greetings and asked to convey his greetings to the head of state.
Cuban President recalled with pleasure his visit to Azerbaijan to attend the Baku Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in 2019 and congratulated Azerbaijan on its successful chairmanship of the organization.
President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez hailed the decision of Azerbaijan to establish an embassy in Cuba.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the development of relations between the two countries in various areas, continuation of cooperation within international organizations, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
