Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, met with Miguel Ángel Moratinos, High Representative for the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC).
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current and future cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UNAOC. They discussed preparations for the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, scheduled to be held in Baku next year in partnership with UNAOC, and agreed to explore the possibility of hosting the 12th UNAOC Global Forum in Azerbaijan in 2027 together with the UNAOC Group of Friends.
The parties emphasized that the partnership established through the “Baku Process” plays a crucial role in promoting international intercultural dialogue. Discussions also covered past initiatives implemented jointly with UNAOC, ongoing events, and plans for upcoming forums.
