The Azerbaijan-Russia Business Council convened another meeting in Baku, bringing together over 90 member organizations and entities active in various sectors, including agriculture, machinery, petrochemicals, banking, and logistics.
Addressing the gathering, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov highlighted the growing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia. He emphasized the significance of the Business Council as a partnership mechanism, especially in diversifying economic and trade relations.
Samad Gurbanov provided an update on the Council’s initiatives, including promoting trade, business relations, and supporting Azerbaijan’s business community.
As part of the agenda, elections were held for the Council’s Board of Directors. Emin Agalarov, founder of Agalarov Development, was elected Chairman, while Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of AZPROMO, and Gambar Benenyarly, Director of Nardaran Invest LLC, were elected Deputy Chairmen.
In his remarks, Emin Agalarov underscored the importance of intensifying business dialogue and expanding partnership opportunities for entrepreneurs in both countries.
Samad Gurbanov was presented with an Honorary Certificate in recognition of his contributions to the development of Azerbaijan-Russia economic relations.
