Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan, and Elvin Aslanov, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, took part in the 17th National Congress on Children’s Rights held in Morocco.
The Congress focused on issues related to the protection of children’s rights, social policies, and the promotion of international cooperation.
A ceremony was held to mark the 30th anniversary of the Morocco’s National Observatory for Children’s Rights (Observatoire National des Droits de l’Enfant – ONDE). Under the patronage of Princess Lalla Meryem, the event reviewed ONDE’s activities over the past three decades, highlighting its achievements and future plans.
During the visit, Azerbaijani representatives held several bilateral meetings with Moroccan officials to discuss cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives in social and humanitarian fields.
