The Kazakh Emergency Ministry has deployed 235 personnel to the plane crash site, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The bodies of 10 victims out of 38 fatalities have been identified so far. Among them are four Azerbaijani nationals, three Kazakh nationals, and three Russian nationals. Efforts to identify the remaining victims are ongoing.
The Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry stated that all 29 hospitalized survivors have been identified, with 20 still receiving treatment in medical facilities. Fourteen Azerbaijani nationals, including one child, who survived the crash, were discharged from Mangistau Regional Hospital and transported back to Azerbaijan.
The tragic crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) flight J2-8243, operating the Baku-Grozny route, occurred near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25, claiming 38 lives and leaving 29 survivors.
