Pursuant to the approved training plan for 2025, a series of educational and ideological events were organized at military units of the Air Force within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,”.
The events commenced with a tribute to the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and to the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Speakers highlighted the socio-political importance of the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” in the country by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated December 28, 2024. It was noted that this decision is of special importance in terms of strengthening the construction of a legal state and further reinforcing national sovereignty, and it contributes to the process of development in all spheres of society.
As the events continued, emphasis was placed on the historic Victory achieved by the Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in the 44-day Patriotic War, the strong unity demonstrated by the Azerbaijani nation in attaining this Victory, and the heroism shown by the servicemen.
It was stated that the memory of Martyrs will always be held in high honor, and attention was drawn to the large-scale reconstruction and restoration works being carried out in the liberated territories, as well as to the Great Return process, as clear examples of the high value that the state and the people attach to their native lands.
