An awareness-raising campaign dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide has been launched in the city of Rome, Italy, as part of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s international campaign “Justice for Khojaly!” initiated by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
A specially designed car with information reflecting the realities of the Khojaly genocide will move through the central streets of Rome.
The slogans such as “Justice for Khojaly!”, “We remember!”, as well as the photos accompanied by information such as “Khojaly genocide, “February 26, 1992”, “63 children were killed, 76 children were disabled”, “25 children lost both parents, 8 families were completely destroyed” and others are displayed on the car.
The rally that will cover the central streets and squares of the city will draw the attention of local residents to the genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in the town of Khojaly.
