Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), met with Muhammad Nasar Hayat, Representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the ANAMA Chairman provided detailed information on the mine problem facing Azerbaijan, as well as the progress achieved in activities aimed at eliminating this threat.
The sides exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining and discussed other issues of mutual interest.
