“During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, 256 anti-personnel, 92 anti-tank mines, as well as 71 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were found and neutralized from August 21 to 27,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“In total, 528,1 hectares of territory were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
