Due to the recent, including today, repeated closures of airspace over the Russian city of Astrakhan, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) is indefinitely suspending all flights on the Baku-Astrakhan-Baku route to ensure flight safety.
Passengers booked on AZAL flights to and from Astrakhan who are unable to use the airline’s services due to this situation can receive a full refund without penalties or rebook their tickets. To proceed, passengers are advised to contact the airline via email at callcenter@azal.az.
AZAL continues to monitor the situation closely and will update passengers about any changes.
