The Egypt`s weekly newspaper “Akhbar Al Youm” newspaper has posted an article entitled “Azerbaijani President emphasized that the groundbreaking of 10 villages has been made in Karabakh”.

The article quotes President Ilham Aliyev as saying:

“I have been in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur since May 2, and many events have been held here. The groundbreaking of 10 villages has been made, and there have been many opening ceremonies. Having been here in Karabakh and East Zangezur for about 10 days now, I can see firsthand again that Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur are reviving, roads, bridges, tunnels, power plants, water reservoirs, schools, hospitals, residential buildings, mosques are being built, rebuilt or renovated, electricity transmission lines are being extended. The interests of the people of Azerbaijan are at the core of all this creative work.”

The article also noted that President Ilham Aliyev ordered to create a working group in April 2022 for the purpose of developing the concept of “smart city” and “smart village”.

“The first “smart village” was commissioned in May the last year. The government of Azerbaijan plans to relocate more than 34 thousand families to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur by 2027, and for this purpose, houses and infrastructure facilities are expected to be built,” the article emphasized.
