An Iftar dinner has been hosted on the initiative of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in Khazar district, Baku.
Families of martyrs and low-income families as well as war veterans joined the Iftar meal.
The Iftar dinner started with the recitation of verses from the holy Quran. The participants held prayers for the souls of martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. They also highlighted virtues and blessings of the holy month of Ramadan.
Reyhan Yusifova, mother of the Patriotic War martyr Ramin Yusifzade and reserve officer Emil Hasanov, who fought in the April battles and the Patriotic War, expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for their attention and care to the families of martyrs, members of low-income families, and war veterans.
