The Dutch DJ is set to perform in Baku on April 29th

Baku City Circuit, promoter of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2023, has confirmed that Dutch DJ, music producer and global phenomenon Hardwell will be performing at the event coming to Baku the weekend of April 28th–30th. The award-winning artist is the first act to be announced for what’s expected to be a weekend full of action-packed racing and entertainment for every type of fan.

Returning to Baku for the seventh time, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix has fast become a fan favourite race attracting thousands of visitors from around the world and offering some of the most exciting and unpredictable moments in modern Formula 1 history. From on track battles ending in clashes to race leaders crashing with only a few laps to go, with Baku, fans must always expect the unexpected.

Hardwell is one of the most in-demand DJs in the world, with a string of global hits under his belt, including “Spaceman,” “Apollo,” and “Thinking About You.”

After first hitting the Dutch dance music scene at just 14 years old, Hardwell achieved international acclaim ten years later in 2013, where he was named the World Number 1 DJ by DJ Magazine for two consecutive years.

He has headlined some of the world’s biggest festivals and events, including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, and is known for his high-energy performances and infectious beats.

Most recently, to kick off 2023, Hardwell teamed up with fellow Dutch artist Maddix to take David Guetta’s resounding cover of Benny Benassi’s classic ‘Satisfaction’ and giving it a boost of raw up-tempo energy and bass.

With an extensive entertainment schedule for the weekend expected the addition of Hardwell to the line-up is set to make the event even more memorable, with fans able to enjoy the best of both the pinnacle of motorsport and dance music.
