The Azerbaijani fencing team have taken a silver medal in the Women`s Sabre Fencing World Cup held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Azerbaijan`s squad, consisting of Anna Bashta, Valeriya Bolshakova, Sabina Karimova and Palina Kaspiarovich, sealed the medal after losing 40:45 to Bulgaria in the final.
The competition featured the world’s 20 strongest teams.
