INDIAN PORTAL HIGHLIGHTS ATESHGAH – FIRE TEMPLE OF BAKU

The Indian “abplive.com” news portal has posted an article highlighting Ateshgah Fire Temple, a historical architectural reserve in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku.

The article mentioned that the temple, where fire has been burning for centuries in Azerbaijan, is located thousands of kilometers from India.

“It is surprising that Hindu visitors are interested in Muslim-majority Azerbaijan on the western side of the Caspian Sea,” the article mentioned.

Highlighting the history and architectural features of the temple, the author noted that former Minister of External Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj also visited the Ateshgah temple during her visit to Azerbaijan in 2018.

The article also emphasized that thousands of foreign tourists and pilgrims, including Indians visit Ateshgah, which was declared as an architectural reserve by the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan. Ateshgah temple is included in the UNESCO`s Preliminary World Heritage List.
