Azerbaijani players Vasif Durarbayli, Eltaj Safarli and female player Ulviyya Fataliyeva have claimed their first win each scoring a point at the Sunway International Chess Festival, held in Sitges, town in Barcelona, Spain on December 12-22.
The Swiss system tournament features 10-rounds. The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with a 30-second increment from the first move.
The tournament brought together a total of 150 chess players.
