
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Georgian counterpart Maka Botchorishvili on the sidelines of the 32nd Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) held in Vienna.
During the meeting, the parties hailed the dynamic development of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia across all domains. They underlined that cooperation between the two countries, based on the principles of friendship, mutual support, and good neighborliness, plays a pivotal role in the region’s stability and progress.
The two ministers exchanged views on bilateral economic and trade relations, as well as joint strategic projects implemented so far in the energy, transport, and logistics sectors. They emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening transport and communication corridors in the region for the prosperity of both countries and the wider region.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information on the peace process following the Washington Summit. He noted that the agreements reached in Washington were an important turning point in advancing the peace agenda in the region, highlighting Azerbaijan’s expectations from this process.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
