Azerbaijani powerlifter Latif Aliyev garnered two medals at the 2025 European Youth and U15 Championships in Madrid, Spain.
He bagged the gold medal by lifting 108kg in the snatch, while lifting 129kg in the clean and jerk event, in the 71kg weight category, respectively.
Aliyev’s total lift of 237kg (108kg + 129kg) earned him the silver medal of the championships.
