
The Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics group once again climbed to the top of the podium, striking the second gold for their country at the 32nd World University Games of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) taking place in Rhine-Ruhr, German.
The team comprising Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, and Gullu Ahgalarzade, delivered an outstanding performance in the five ribbons exercises, earning a score of 22.850 points. Ukraine claimed the silver medal, while South Korea took bronze.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics secured gold in the group all-around event.
