
A delegation led by Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Law and Justice of Pakistan, visited the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Inam Karimov, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, highlighted the fraternal relations between the two nations, rooted in shared religious, historical, and cultural values. He noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, founded on mutual trust and support, continues to grow in all areas, including the legal and justice sectors.
During the meeting, the guests were informed about the reforms undertaken in Azerbaijan’s legal system and the progress made in building a state governed by the rule of law. Inam Karimov emphasized the significant potential for enhancing collaboration between the judicial authorities of both countries. He underscored the importance of sharing experiences in judicial system development, legal reforms, and the training and professional development of judges.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Azam Nazeer Tarar noted that strengthening legal cooperation with Azerbaijan would be mutually beneficial for the judicial systems of both nations.
The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual interest.
