ECO WOMEN FORUM KICKS OFF IN LACHIN

The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Women Forum started in Lachin, as part of the inaugural ECO Week, initiated by President Ilham Aliyev.

The forum aims to foster cross-sectoral cooperation among ECO member countries to empower women across all areas of human development. It also seeks to highlight and strengthen women’s roles in building sustainable, inclusive, and resilient societies within the ECO region.

Discussions will focus on women’s contributions to human development for climate sustainability, empowerment through education, digital inclusion, innovations, and the exchange of experiences, among other topics.

The forum will serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing among women leaders from ECO member countries and relevant international partner organizations.
