FIRST DAY OF EUROPE AND CIS POSTAL LEADERS FORUM WRAPS UP IN BAKU

The first day of the First Europe and CIS Postal Leaders Forum under the theme “Next Horizons: Navigating E-commerce, Innovation, and Supply Chain for Future Excellence” concluded in Baku on Tuesday.

The three-day Forum is jointly organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and Azerpost – operating under the Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON).

Addressing the event, Marjan Oswald, Deputy Director General of the International Bureau of the UPU expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for the excellent organization of the event, adding that Azerpost is doing a remarkable job.

Noting that the forum brought together nearly 180 participants from over 30 countries, Isi Mustafayev, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azerpost LLC, said: “Attendees include senior officials from national postal services, industry experts, academic institutions, technology providers, and e-commerce companies. Baku hosts the regional postal event for the second time.”
