“We are deeply saddened by the crash of a passenger plane on the Baku-Grozny flight this morning near Aktau, Kazakhstan,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye said in a statement regarding the crash of the plane en route from Baku to Grozny, belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), today morning near the city of Aktau.
“We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in this tragic accident, extend our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to those injured.
We are ready to provide all kinds of support to our Azerbaijani and Kazakh brothers and sisters in this difficult time,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry noted.
