GEORGIAN PRIME MINISTER TO PARTICIPATE IN COP29 IN AZERBAIJAN

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will attend the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Baku.

Kobakhidze is scheduled to deliver a speech at the World Leaders Climate Action Summit and participate in roundtable panel discussions on various topics.

The Prime Minister will also hold a face-to-face meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Leaders participating in the conference, held from Monday to Wednesday, will be hosted by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and President Ilham Aliyev.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a delegation, including First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
