Kamran Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General met with a delegation led by Timur Tashimbayev, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan.
Kamran Aliyev underscored that the historical, cultural, and religious commonalities between the Azerbaijani and Kazakh peoples are at the core of the bilateral relations, adding that the two nations are bound together by centuries-old ties of traditional friendship and brotherhood.
According to him, the close relations between the two heads of state make a significant contribution to the development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
“The construction of “the Children’s Creativity Center named after Kurmangazy in liberated city of Fuzuli by the government of Kazakhstan has become another symbol of friendship, brotherhood, and mutual support between the countries and peoples,” the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General mentioned.
Hailing the development of cooperation between the prosecution and law enforcement authorities of the two countries, Kamran Aliyev expressed his confidence that legal relations would successfully continue.
Subsequently, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev underlined Azerbaijan’s hosting of COP29 and handed over letters of invitation to the guests regarding a high-level plenary session of the meeting themed ‘Mobilizing Law Enforcement for Enhanced Climate Action scheduled for November 15 in Baku, co-organized by Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on the margins of COP29.
Kazakh First Deputy Prosecutor General Timur Tashimbayev praised the existing relationships between the two countries’ prosecution offices.
