4.9 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE JOLTS GEORGIA

A 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit Georgia on Monday, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The quake, depth of 15 km, was recorded at 12:08 local time.

The tremors of magnitude 4-3 were felt in Azerbaijan’s Aghstafa, Tovuz, Balakan, Zagatala, Ganja, Gadabay and other neighboring districts.
