Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission, Mazahir Panahov, held a meeting with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan, Zayniddin Nizamkhodjayev.
Panahov praised the relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and provided the delegation with an overview of the snap presidential election, highlighting the conditions ensured for voters and observers.
Regarding the observation process, Panahov mentioned the deployment of 90,000 observers and three organizations tasked with conducting exit polls.
Nizamkhodjayev emphasized the close relations and strategic partnership between the two countries and expressed confidence in the transparency and adherence to rules in the election process. He hoped for the Azerbaijani people to vote for the best candidate for their future development.
